I'm Sneh Sharma, a commercial photographer based in Gurugram, India. I specialize in photographing food and beverages with a flair for fine art. Food is not just a subject for me to photograph, it is a way of life. The colors, textures, and flavors of each recipe tell a unique story, and it has to be portrayed .
I also love creating fine art portraitures as a form of personal art. For me portraitures are not just about capturing people's appearance, they reflect the unique relationship the artist shares with his subject while photographing them.
My Story
I was born in the city of Kolkata and currently based in Delhi NCR. I discovered my artistic affinity quite early and started to paint and indulged in music when I was 17. Gradually, I discovered a simpler yet stronger mode of expression through the world of photography and spent my formative years learning the art of seeing light and creating images with it.
I am known for my bold and graphic style artistic portraits, topped with a flair for fine art and cinema.
After the introduction of digital and phones cameras in photography, prints have lost it's importance somewhere. But though digital images has it's own advantages, they will be lost soon somewhere in our computers and storage drives. I believe images creates different emotions when they are printed, it becomes timeless. Hence, I constantly try to create such timeless images that can be printed as pieces of wall art and passed on as a legacy to future generations.
The word Sunistry originated from Sunny's artistry, which is a stage name for Sneh. It was later incorporated as Sunistry Studios LLP. Within just four years of his journey, he has had the privilege of photographing for big hotel brands like The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International & The Radisson Hotels etc.
His work has also appeared in leading publications like The Outlook Magazine, NDTV Food, The Asian Age, BW Hoteliers Magazine & LBB.
